This hotel  is located close to the shores of Lake Baringo, about 118 kilometers from Nakuru town. The lodge is approximately 274 kilometers from Nairobi. There are 12 guestrooms comprising of 8 single rooms and 4 doubles rooms.
Each guestroom is named after birds that can be seen locally, such as kingfisher, sterling and ibis. The guestrooms have mosquito nets, closets and work desks.
The bathrooms are en-suite and don’t have heated showers. The onsite restaurant serves a variety of international and local dishes. There is a small garden with outdoor seating area where guests can also enjoy their meals. The well-stocked bar has a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. The bar has a satellite TV where guests can enjoy the latest sports. Activities in the Tamarind Garden Lake Baringo include bush walks, game drives, boat rides, village visits, fishing and bird watching.
