Nestled on a beautiful, forested bend of the Talek River, right next to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, lies the latest addition to the Basecamp explorer portfolio – Basecamp Adventure.
The camp only has six tents nestled under ancient fig trees with uninterrupted views of the Masai Mara plains. The tent’s interiors express a genuine sense of the real African safari experience. Each tent has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a modern flush toilet with a solar-heated shower and a private terrace with comfortable seating to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the savannah.
The camp is accessible either by road or by air. There are daily scheduled flights to and from Masai Mara. Flights to Basecamp Adventure land at the Ol Kiombo Airstrip where your driver~guide will meet you and drive approximately 45 minutes (more if game viewing on the way) to get to the camp.
If travelling by road, the drive to the Mara goes through the Rift Valley and takes approximately six hours from Nairobi.
