Sekenani Camp is located six kilometers east of the main gate to the Maasai Mara reserve. It is built in the riverine forest that surrounds the source of the Sekenani River.Sekenani Camp is 90 kilometers from Narok town and 250 kilometers from Nairobi.  The drive time from Nairobi is about 4 to 5 hours, depending on traffic. For those wishing to go by air the closest airstrip is at Keekorok. The flight from Nairobi takes about fifty minutes. The Maasai Mara is linked by scheduled air services to Nairobi, the coast and other destinations within Kenya.
