The canvas sides of the tents can be rolled up so that guests can make the most of the views. The veranda is the perfect spot to relax in the chaise lounge and watch the blustering Hippos in the Mara River. Meals can also be taken in the privacy of your deck.
At this Kenya luxury lodge the tented suites are comfortably furnished with a hand carved king-sized or double beds and desks. Maasai carpeting and a selection of colonial antiques create the ambiance of being on a safari of yesteryear. There is a writing desk and a small sitting area in each suite.
Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and bidet and an en-suite shower. Lush towels, bathrobes and all the amenities needed to ensure a comfortable stay are provided. All the riverfront suites and the main lodge are covered by Wi-Fi internet connectivity. The camp receives clean water from a borehole. There are twice daily flights between Wilson Airport in Nairobi and the Masai Mara. The preferred airstrip for guests travelling to the Royal Mara is the Mara North airstrip, which is a 10 minute drive from camp. Private charters are also available, but are generally more expensive.
