Bantu Mountain Lodge, formerly Mountain Rock Lodge, is a convenient budget overnight stop before or after climbing Mount Kenya. Rooms are basic but comfortable, the gardens are lush and there is a certain old-world charm to the bar and dining areas.
Bantu Mountain Lodge is tucked away in the woods on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya, 7kms North of Naro moru, 15kms south of Nanyuki and less than 1km from the main road.
The lodge is surrounded by gardens often frequented by prodigious birdlife and wildlife.
